Romance Yourself.
On Friday and Saturday Rob and I built and shot a competition piece for Doritos with a little help from some friends. It was all last minute stuff really as I'd been really busy with other commitments to spend any time on it. The deadline was 12am on Sunday and we just got it edited in time to submit.
Thanks to Kate, Stu, Nicky and the wonderful Peter Dickson who did the voice over for it.

Well it's been pretty nonstop. The Sam Isaac Sideways video was posted online a couple of weeks ago now and most people seem to enjoy it. It was shot over the course of two days with the wonderful help of expert cake makers/decorators Janet and Emma on a tiny budget.
Tellison was finished just before the Sideways video. The work section of the site is currently being updated but i'll stick it up as soon as it's done.
Also working on a number of pitches and sideline projects. More news will follow...

Nicholas Bentley will be working with Sam Duckworth again on a series of documentaries following the recording of his new album. This is scheduled for early September onwards. More information will follow shortly on this.

August has been pretty much none stop. The Tellison video was shot at the weekend and will go into the post stage of things from tomorrow. Thanks to everyone who helped out with cutting out illustrations, taking photos and moving things around. The final edit will appear here soon.
As well as working with the good, good Tellison people i've been working, in my spare time (which has been hardly anytime) on finishing the Luke Leighfield video. It's so, so close to being finished. I am very happy with it.
A new collaboration project is also on the cards for August/Early September. Lot's of animation. More on this soon.
The start of something

The first collaboration job is in and it's going to test the producer/director tag team straight away. The super ace band Tellison have asked us to produce their new video. The shoot is planned for August. Budget is tight and ambitions are high but what's new. More information will follow soon.
June was busy

Nicholas Bentley is currently working on finishing things off and getting new things started. High on the list of things to do is to finish the Luke Leighfield video which you will be able to see on this site soon. Also, a collaboration project with the wonderful Mira Calix, which unfortunately had to be put on hold, is back on the slate and production will restart soon. Some new and very exciting projects are coming up soon but more will be said about them later.
Nicholas Bentley has also tag teamed up with ace, hot-shot producer Charlie Bettice and will be collaborating on their first project together very soon.
July has been incredibly busy with jobs for MTV and a bunch of pitches for some new clients.
